During this day we celebrate the maritime domain of the Serenissima Republic.

In this occasion was held "The Marriage of the Sea", a cerimony of a solemn procession of boats, headed by the typical boat "Bucintoro" to the Island of Lido where is located the Church of Saint Nicolò, patron of sailors.

Today, in this occasion we use to commemorate with a traditional boats parade from Saint Mark to Lido Island.
